Focus on "Shanxi Xin Energy Group"
Profile of Juewei Cultural Tourism Company
In response to the national call of developing green industries, Shanxi Yaxin Group extends investments from the energy industry to basalt fiber (a high-tech materials) and cultural tourism projects. In May 2013, Shanxi Yaxin Group signed the Taiyuan Xishan Ecological Restoration Cooperation Agreement with Taiyuan Municipal People’s Government, starting the development of green cultural tourism industry. In the same period, the headquarters of the park was established and it took only one week for the launch. On March 20, 2014, “Shanxi Juewei Mountain Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd.” was formally incorporated, which is currently a member of Shanxi Yaxin Group. The park is located in the area of the Juewei Mountain in Jiancaoping District that is 24km northwest of Taiyuan City, and next to Guoxin Park in the south, boundary of Gancaomao Village in Shengke Park in the west, and Gangsheng Park in the north. It extends 2.7 kilometers and covers an area of 10,063 mu. The park is surrounded by verdant mountains.
As a famous scenic spot in the edge of Taiyuan, Juewei Mountain boasts main attractions including Duofu Temple, a thousand-year-old site protected at the national level, the seven-level stupa, hideout of Fu Shan, who is a culture celebrity of Shanxi, the ammunition depot of Yan Xishan and the northern dwellings Gancaomao Village and Zhuangtou Village. Among them, the “Juewei Red Leaves” is the famous landscape ranking the first of “Eight Scenes of Ancient Jinyang”. Therefore, Juewei Mountain abounds in natural, cultural, historical and characteristic resources. The top of the mountain has a superb view of the whole city and the beautiful fields. It presents exquisite and charming sceneries like splendid flowers in spring, green sea of pines in summer, red leaves in autumn and silver mountains in winter.
We will continue to explore the formation of a northern mountain summer recreation center dominated by Fu Shan culture and targeting core consumers from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and Shaanxi. By developing red leaves sightseeing, organizing activities regarding the Duofu Temple Buddhist sacred place, and relying on the profound Buddhist culture of Duofu Temple and the ecological and natural environment of Juewei Mountain, we will strive to build a comprehensive leisure forest park integrating the northern forest health, leisure sports, Duofu theme park and Fu Shan traditional Chinese medicine.
